Calling All Young Archers! Discover Your Strength at "The Way of the Bow" Camp

Everything You Need to Plan a Stress-Free Summer Camp Experience

Welcome to the most epic summer adventure in Atlanta! At "The Way of the Bow" Archery Camp, young archers (ages 8 and up) get ready for an experience that’s equal parts thrill, skill, and personal power. Located in Dunwoody, GA, our Alpharetta campgrounds set the perfect scene for campers to dive into the ancient art of archery.

Here’s everything you need to know about this summer’s top camp destination!

Why Choose "The Way of the Bow"?

Our camp is more than just hitting targets. It’s about growth, confidence, and personal empowerment. Each archer learns how to breathe, focus, and release—both on the archery range and in life! From grounding and centering techniques to hands-on archery form, this camp is built to teach valuable life skills.

What’s Included in Your Archery Camp Experience?

Mastering the Shot Cycle: We start with the basics and work up, helping each archer build strong form, steady aim, and an understanding of the art and science behind each shot.

Make Your Own Arm Guard:  Because nothing says “I’m a serious archer” like your own custom gear! Each camper creates a custom leather arm guard to take home.

Archery Strength and Stamina:  Archery is all about form and focus, and we guide young archers in building the strength and skills to hit their goals, no matter where they aim.

Camp Essentials: What to Bring

Packing is key for a great camp day! Make sure your archer arrives each day with:

  • Comfortable Clothing and Sneakers - They’ll be moving and aiming, so stretchy and cool clothing is ideal.
  • Backpack & Sunscreen - Sun protection is a must for those days on the range!
  • Lunch & Snacks - Send a non-perishable lunch and two snacks. Don’t forget a water bottle—we keep the refills coming!
  • Camp Shirt - Each camper receives a T-shirt during their first week. Make sure you provide their size when registering!

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Times

Parents, we’ve got you covered with easy drop-off and pick-up!

Location: Atlanta Archery Club North Range, 4805 Tilly Mill Rd, Dunwoody, GA

Drop-Off: 11 am

Pick-Up: 4 pm

Safety Comes First at "The Way of the Bow"

Safety is our top priority. Every camper learns the importance of range etiquette and respect, with coaches ensuring everyone feels secure and supported. Archers who cannot follow the Range Rules or who jeopardize the safety and well-being of other campers and staff will be asked to leave and will be refunded.

If we need to advise your archer about his/her behavior, we will do so and connect with you (parent or guardian) at pickup that day. We encourage each archer to grow in the experience of gathering themselves so they can continue and participate. If they continue to be unable to follow range rules and etiquette, we will, unfortunately, have to ask him/her to leave and hopefully grow from that experience.
